Joining Collective Circular Textile

Participating in textile EPR is no longer a choice, but how you shape it, is.

With CCT, you choose an organisation that develops producer responsibility further and takes it seriously: transparent, non-profit, and focused on circular impact. Not as a symbol, but as part of genuine systemic change.

Our mission

Collective Circular Textile gives shape to extended producer responsibility for textiles in the Netherlands. We strive for an EPR system in which sustainability and societal value are central, and where collaboration and transparency form the basis for how it operates.

Our vision is that working together leads to better, more widely supported ideas and solutions. That's why we start from a different form of governance: we build in inclusive decision-making models that encourage open dialogue and idea generation, with transparency as a core condition.

Together with producers, collectors, recyclers, municipalities, NGOs and other stakeholders, we're building an EPR system that goes beyond legal targets.

Why choose Collective Circular Textile

Financially transparent, with no hidden interests

The contributions you pay to CCT go entirely towards implementation. No shareholders, no hidden interests. All financial flows are published annually. CCT deliberately chooses openness  on performance, decision-making and finances through activity reports, newsletters and collective sessions. Transparency isn't a PR tool, it's how we work.

Full support, short lines of communication

Textile EPR is complex. CCT takes over the entire obligation, arranges reporting, handles contact with regulators, and connects to existing collection and processing chains. This lets you focus on your own business, with the certainty that compliance is taken care of. CCT is easy to reach and actively thinks along, not just on EPR questions, but on broader textile policy issues too.

We share knowledge, keep you informed of what's happening, and let you know what we're working on - even before there's a final answer. Producers who want to can contribute directly to our direction through working sessions. The lines are short, contact is personal, and joining is simple: one form, one signature, and we guide you through the process.

Collective strength

We build systems and solutions that match what the market needs, not what's easiest for the organisation to execute. EPR regulation serves as our starting point. We don't apply a one-size-fits-all solution: first, we look at which chains already exist and where the needs lie. Existing relationships are built upon, not replaced.

We steer towards the highest-value processing possible, guided by the R-ladder. The higher up the ladder, the greater the impact, and the fewer raw materials are lost.

Governance & policy

As a producer and value chain partner, you have a voice in how CCT operates and where it's headed. CCT strives for an inclusive board in which both producers and value chain partners are represented.

EPR places obligations on textile producers. Where many producer organisations see that obligation as a finish line, CCT goes further. We're working towards an ecosystem where fiber-to-fiber recycling can be scaled profitably, where life cycle extension is the standard rather than the exception, and where producers and service providers collaborate directly and build on each other.

The Netherlands is the second country in the world with textile EPR. What works here will help shape the European rollout, which becomes mandatory for all EU member states around 2028. CCT has a seat at the table in that development and is active in policy discussions, in the Netherlands and beyond.

We're pursuing harmonisation, so that participating producers know where they stand. Here, too, you know what to expect.
